Robbinsville claimed the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A team tournament championship on Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum, ending Avery County’s four-year winning streak.

The Robbinsville team won the title by a margin of 10 points, beating out the Vikings.

The Graham County recipient of the Most Outstanding Wrestler award is four-time state champion Kage Williams, who secured the 190-pound title and was recognized by the Black Knights for his accomplishment.
