ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ is headed to Chapel Hill for the highly anticipated Duke-UNC game.

ESPN’s pregame show for college basketball, “College GameDay,” will be broadcasted live from Chapell Hill.

The pregame show for college basketball, which will last for an hour, will begin at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, February 3rd at the Dean Smith Center. Attendance is free of charge.

The Smith Center doors will open at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event, with lines potentially forming as early as 7:30 a.m. Students of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill should enter through Entrance C, while the general public should use Entrance D. Seats in Sections 104-114 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The clear bag policy at UNC will apply during “GameDay,” and concessions will be provided. It is recommended that fans refrain from bringing bags, but the following items are permitted inside the Smith Center:

  • Any clear plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″, including gallon freezer bags.
  • Purses that are small and can only hold items up to 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.

  • Essential medical supplies after examination at entrance points.

  • Each person is allowed to have a maximum of two unopened bottles of water that are 20 ounces or smaller. Additionally, empty drink containers can be filled at drinking fountains.

Items that are not allowed include, but are not limited to, the following: Purses that are bigger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, all types of luggage, computer bags, and camera bags.

Spectators can bring personal belongings such as cell phones, binoculars, and cameras into the venue.

Attendees are encouraged to bring posters to “GameDay.” Posters with religious or political allusions, references to competitive or commercial brands, personal or promotional hashtags, or inappropriate language will not be allowed. The university will have areas set up for making posters near Entrances C and D of the Smith Center.

Carpooling is encouraged for people attending “GameDay. Public parking for “GameDay” will be available in the non-reserved sections of the Manning (middle and bottom tiers) and Bowles lots next to the Smith Center. Disability parking will be available in the Williamson Lot off of Skipper Bowles Drive.

All areas must be free of obstructions by 1 p.m. ET in order to prepare for the game.

The Smith Center will be the location for UNC’s 12th pregame show.

Rece Davis, the host of ESPN, will be joined by Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg, and Jay Williams, who are all college basketball analysts.

This will be the 261st matchup between North Carolina and Duke, making it the all-time record. The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 3 and will be broadcasted on ESPN.
