Victoria Langdon’s exceptional dedication truly embodies the spirit of a Harnett Central Trojan.

“She probably is the epitome of Harnett Central,” Ashley Gaines said. “When you think of Harnett Central [High School] if you’re a coach or somebody in the community, Victoria Langdon is one of the first persons that come to your mind.”

Compliments of that nature are not given without merit, and Victoria Langdon consistently delivers, even in unexpected areas.

According to Harnett Central girls basketball coach Chelsey Cabe, she takes on tasks that others may not enjoy. Despite not being the top scorer, she is likely to have the most rebounds and is considered the strongest defensive player on our team.

Langdon is a student in her final year at Harnett Central. She participates in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track.

According to Gaines, the volleyball coach at Harnett Central, she is capable of handling any task. She arrives early to practice and ensures that everyone is prepared and on schedule. If Gaines is ever running late or has a meeting, he can rely on Victoria to know what needs to be done at the beginning of practice.

When not participating in her own athletic pursuits, Langdon avidly supports her peers’ endeavors. As the head of Harnett Central’s Gold Rush student section, she leads the cheers and chants.

Cabe stated that she embodies the authentic meaning of a Trojan.

Langdon coordinates the student section themes for the entire football season and promotes them on social media. During the game, she leads the student section and raises and lowers the school flag in the stands after the Trojans score.

Cabe remarked that it is difficult to come across a child who does not have their own personal motivations or who does not consider their impact on others. Victoria, however, takes into account the bigger picture of her actions. She strives for personal success while also aiming to uplift those around her.

Langdon has a grade point average of 4.3 and aspires to pursue a teaching career in college. She received the WRAL’s Tom Suiter Extra Effort award for her accomplishments in academics, community involvement, and athletics.

Langdon expressed his appreciation for the strong sense of love and community within this group. He is committed to making a significant impact in the community in any way possible.
