Rankings: Hickory Ridge joins girls soccer top 25, Holly Springs makes big leap

The HighSchoolOT statewide girls soccer rankings welcomed Holly Springs and Heritage to its top 10 this week as they, along with Wake Forest, created some separation in the 919 area code.

Hickory Ridge’s win at Hickory (the two schools are about an hour and a half apart despite the similar names) put the Ragin’ Bulls in and helped push Northwest Guilford out.

This is the first time Hickory Ridge girls soccer has been ranked in the rankings’ five-year history.
