Stuttgart will look to put an end to their three-game losing run in all competitions when they take on Augsburg in the DFB Pokal quarter-finals. Die Schwaben aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Borussia M’gladbach and they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. All Zagadou, Toure, Raimund, Olivier, and Diehl remain in the recovery room, while influential striker Deniz Undav should be recalled to the starting eleven. Turkish midfielder Atakan Karazor is back from suspension.

The Bavarians, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with St. Pauli. Waldemar only had to wait for two months to net his first goal against Borussia Monchengladbach. The following season he commanded Hannover’s defense in Bundesliga 2, making 31 appearances, helping his team to return to the top flight immediately after the relegation.
