— The popular video game “EA Sports College Football 25” added an update that will be popular among North Carolina Tar Heels fans.

The game added the late UNC wide receiver Tylee Craft, who died in October 2024 from lung cancer. He was 23.

“A big thank you to @EASPORTSCollege for adding Tylee Craft to the video game in their recent update,” former UNC head coach Mack Brown posted on X. “[It was] very kind of them to do that for his family and friends.”

Brown’s post shows a screenshot of the video game as Craft wears No. 13.

The update allows gamers to play with Craft.

Craft, from Sumter, South Carolina, appeared in seven games in 2020 and four in 2021. He was diagnosed with stage 4 large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung cancer in the spring of 2022. He attended practices into the 2023 season even after the cancer had spread to his brain.

The cancer eventually progressed to his liver and spine, but Craft graduated from UNC in 2024.
