King Abdullah Sports City will be the centre of attention when Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns in the Spanish Super Cup final. Los Blancos proved their worth in a 3-0 win over Mallorca and it has to be noted that they had 28 goal attempts in the semi-final clash. With trio Rodrygo – Vinicius – Mbappe being fully fit for the decider, home win should definitely be considered. Aurelien Tchouameni should recover in time to face Barca in the title game.

The Catalans, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Real Madrid by beating Athletic Club 2-0. Lamine Yamal proved a handful for Bilbao defenders, meaning that los Blancos should have him at bay as well. Anyhow, home win should be considered as it seems as if Carlo Ancelotti’s men have been improving their game week by week. Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen remains in the recovery room, while forward Dani Olmo should be recalled to Barcelona’s starting XI.
