North Carolina High School Girls Basketball Rankings: The Top 25 teams in the state right now

HighSchoolOT has released its updated North Carolina high school girls basketball statewide rankings for the 2024-25 season.

HSOT has two sets of rankings: a statewide Top 25 and top 15s for each of North Carolina’s six area codes.

HighSchoolOT’s latest regional Top 15 rankings for girls basketball

In the first update of 2025, Sanford’s Grace Christian School has taken over the top spot in the HSOT Statewide Top 25 rankings for girls basketball. The Crusaders are 10-4 overall this season and have only lost to teams from out of the state or of the non-academic variety.

Cannon School, the previous No. 1 team, is now No. 3. Terry Sanford rose from No. 3 to No. 2.

Rolesville, which suffered a significant injury to its best player, dropped from No. 2 to No. 13 in the latest update.

North Wilkes is among the teams that were added in the update. The Vikings went from unranked to No. 14 after a 12-1 start.
