The fifth-annual HighSchoolOT girls golf all-state team features 20 players making their second, third, or fourth appearance on the team, including six players who were repeat first-team selections.

HSOT uses handicap differential from state championships to place players onto first, second, or third team. There were no ties this year, but if there had been they would have been broken based on either A) N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association player rank from during the season or B) performance at N.C. High School Athletic Association regionals.

There are also 15 golfers on Honorable Mention spots, which were given based on a combination of handicap differential and rank within a classification.

The full teams are listed below, with players listed in order of their handicap differential based on their championship scores. Some highlights:

• Northwest Guilford’s Leah Edwards and Myers Park’s Elizabeth Rudisill graduate as four-time all-state selections and four-time first teamers. Jacksonville’s Sanaa Carter is also a four-time selection who had made the third team three straight years before joining the first team this year.
• Jenna Kim, a sophomore at Durham Academy, made the team for the fourth time and has been a first-teamer three straight years (she made it as a 7th- and 8th-grader).
• Jordan’s Emerson Dever graduates having made the first team three years in a row.
• Marvin Ridge’s Xinyan Li and Pinecrest’s Kaitlyn Kruczek made the first team for the second year in a row.
