Following a 1-1 draw with Mirandes, Sporting Gijon will look to return to winning ways in La Liga 2 when they face Malaga on Saturday evening. Los Rojiblancos are after their seventh home win of the process, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team. Ruben Albes has a full squad to choose from for the Malaga game. The Andalusians, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 3-0 win over Eldense.

Malaga, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets for the home team. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in four of the previous six meetings between the two sides. Morocco midfielder Haitam Abaida should be the only absentee in the away team.

Sporting Gijon are a Spanish football club that competes in La Liga. Sporting Gijon’s home ground is El Molinon, the stadium that was built in 1908.
