Southern Durham 4-star DL Isaiah Campbell to choose between UNC, Tennessee on Wednesday
Southern Durham defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell will announce his college commitment this week.
Campbell, a four-star player from the Class of 2025, will make his announcement on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. The event will be held at Southern Durham and will stream live on HighSchoolOT.com.
According to 247Sports.com, Campbell is the No. 2 player in North Carolina from the senior class. He is rated the No. 6 defensive lineman nationally and the No. 33 overall player in the country.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Campbell recorded 80 tackles and 22 tackles for loss this past season. He also added 12 sacks and 47 quarterback hurries, four pass deflections and one forced fumble.
Campbell was selected to the US Army All-American Bowl and the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Last year, he was a HighSchoolOT All-State Team member as a junior.
In January, Campbell committed to Clemson. However, he rescinded his commitment to the Tigers in September.
Campbell has dozens of offers, but he is choosing between North Carolina and Tennessee. He took official visits to both schools in late November.
Southern Durham posted a 10-3 record this fall, including a 5-0 mark in the Northern Lakes 2A/3A Conference. The Spartans were eliminated from the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3A state playoffs in the third round, falling to J.H. Rose.
