Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Andy Dalton is OK after being involved in a car crash with his family on Tuesday, the team announced.
Dalton, his wife, three children and the family dog were also in the car, according to NFL on CBS insider Jonathan Jones. None of them needed to be taken to the hospital either, according to the team.
The Panthers posted that medical personnel will evaluate Dalton.
Dalton is 1-4 as the Panthers’ starting quarterback this year. The Panther (1-5) have lost four games in a row.
In Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders, Dalton replaced second-year quarterback Bryce Young as the team’s starter.
Dalton has thrown for 989 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions. He has completed 66.3% of his passes.
After Sunday’s a 40-7 loss to the Washington Commanders, head coach Dave Canales that Panthers planned to continue with Dalton as the starter.
