Statewide Boys Soccer Rankings: Trio of Triangle teams join top 25 for first time this year

The HighSchoolOT statewide boys soccer rankings are steady through the first seven, add three Triangle teams towards the bottom, and saw some movement in between.

Rolesville, Southern Durham, and Franklin Academy have been knocking on the top 25 door all year, and finally it came crashing down. They replace Southwestern Randolph, Wesleyan Christian, and Enloe.

Northwest Guilford is back in the top 10 for the first time since Week 5, and teams like Green Hope, Broughton, Wakefield, and Grimsley all moved up a tick.

HSOT has two sets of rankings: a statewide Top 25 and top 15s for each of North Carolina’s six area codes. Members of any of these four associations — N.C. High School Athletic Association, N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association, N.C. Christian Schools Association, N.C. Homeschool Athletic Commission — are eligible.
