North Carolina High School Football Rankings: The Top 25 teams in the state right now

HighSchoolOT has released its updated North Carolina high school football rankings following the action of week eight.

HSOT has two sets of rankings: a statewide Top 25 and top 15s for each of North Carolina’s six area codes.

There are not many changes to the rankings this week. Only West Charlotte lost, but it came to a top five team in Hough, so the Lions were not penalized too much. West Charlotte dropped from No. 14 to No. 16. Hoggard flipped down a spot with Leesville Road after Hoggard had a close with over Ashley. Rolesville moved up from No. 10 to No. 7 after a dominant 35-0 shutout win over a previously unbeaten Millbrook team. The Rams were the preseason No. 1 and are starting to get into a groove.
