Newcastle United will look to book their place in the EFL Cup last 16 when they welcome AFC Wimbledon to their St. James’ Park on Tuesday evening. The Magpies are brimming with confidence following a 1-1 draw with star-studded Man City and even though Eddi Howe is expected to mix the squad, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. All Livramento, Longstaff, and Willock are pushing for a start, while key attacker Alexander Isak is unlikely to be risked.

The Dons, on the other hand, will have a mountain to climb in the EFL clash as Newcastle have turned their St. James’ Park into a real fortress. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of the trip to Tyne and Wear, but both Joe Pigott and Callum Maycock should be recalled to the starting eleven.

Born in Derby on November 11, 1993, Jamaal Lascelles is an English footballer who plays for Newcastle United as a defender. Lascelles began his youth career at Nottingham Forest and he continued playing for the Reds on senior level.

After scoring two goals in 32 appearances for Forest, Jamaal Lascelles moved to Newcastle United in 2014 and he has been playing for the Magpies ever since. The 188-cm-tall centre-back has a deal with Newcastle United, which should expire in June, 2023.
