Celta Vigo will look to make amends for back-to-back losses to Athletic Club and Atletico Madrid when they take on Girona at their Estadio de Balaidos. Os Celeste were on the verge of sharing the spoils with los Rojiblancos, but Julian Alvarez eventually scored a late winner for the capital club. Celta’s display, though, was anything but poor in the midweek defeat and they are surely capable of matching Girona in Galicia. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but all Oscar Mingueza, Mihailo Ristic, and Luca de la Torre remain in the treatment room.

The Catalans, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Barcelona and Valencia, while sharing the spoils with Rayo Vallecano. As Girona are not regarded as good travellers, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Celta Vigo. Both Garcia Jastin and Ricard Artero should miss out with injuries for the visiting team.

Christian Stuani

Cristhian Stuani is considered one of the best Uruguay attackers. Stuani was born on 12 October, 1986 and he began his senior career at Danubio. He impressed with the Uruguayan outfit, scoring 23 goals in 36 appearances for the club and, as a result, he became a target for a number of top European clubs.

In 2008 he signed a contract with Reggina, but he failed to impress in 17 appearances for the Italian team. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Espanyol, Christian Stuani signed a permanent deal with the Catalan side in 2013. Stuani scored 12 goals in 37 league appearances for Espanyol in the 2014/2015 Primera Division campaign, but at the end of the season he moved to Middlesbrough for a reported €3 million fee.

The 186-cm-tall striker made his Uruguay debut on 14 November, 2012 in a friendly win over Poland. Stuani also represented la Celeste at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Celta de Vigo is a Spanish football club from Vigo in the Galicia region. The club was founded in 1923 after a fusion between Real Club Fortuna de Vigo and Real Vigo Sporting. From 1997 until 2003 Celta de Vigo managed to become a strong team in the Primera Division. Highlight was season 2003/2004 where the club managed to reach the knock out stage of the Champions League but in the same season the team got downgraded to the Segunda Division.
