He was the best freshman defensive lineman in North Carolina in 2023 and the floodgates for his recruiting might open up after receiving an ACC offer to kick off his recruitment.

  • 2023-24: Archer was an instant call-up to Seventy-First’s varsity team during his freshman year. He went on to prove head coach Duran McLaurin and company for putting him on varsity. Archer compiled 82 tackles (5.9/game), 29 tackles for a loss, three sacks, and a fumble recovery during his freshman campaign.
  • 2023-24: Helps Seventy-First win the 3A East regional championship. The Falcons fell to Hickory 33-26 in the 3A state championship game.
