The Starting 22: Best players from week 0 of high school football
For each week of the 2024 high school football season, HighSchoolOT will release the Starting 22. It lists the best performances from every position across North Carolina. Last week was week one for the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association teams and week zero for the N.C. High School Athletic Association teams.
Coaches should send in performance nominations to [email protected] for consideration each week. Players cannot have a repeat selection later in the year, as the goal of this is to shine the light on as many players as possible.
Offense

- The big 6-foot-6, 320-pound right tackle had some nice moments of pass blocking during an otherwise bad night for Trinity Christian protecting its quarterback against Providence Day.
