Our prediction for this Champions League match:

Rangers

Rangers

Dynamo Kyiv

Dynamo Kyiv

Rangers and Dynamo Kyiv take on each other at Hampden Park in the closing match of Tuesday’s program in the Champions League third qualifying round. The two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, with Cyriel Dessers scoring a late equalizer for the Gers. To make things even better for boss Philippe Clement, Rangers defeated Motherwell in the Premiership round 2 to get yet another confidence boost. Oscar Cortes and Nicolas Raskin should be the only absentees in the home team.

The Ukrainians, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Veres-Rivne where experienced winger Andriy Yarmolenko was given a rest. The former West Ham ace returns to the starting XI, but seeing that Rangers are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are tempted to place our bets on the Scottish vice-champions. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.

Highlighted Player (Tom Lawrence):

Tom Lawrence

Tom Lawrence is a Welsh footballer who plays as a winger for Championship side Derby County. Born in Wrexham (Wales) on January 13, 1994, Tom Lawrence played for Everton and Manchester United during his youth career.

The 180-cm-tall footballer, though, made no more than one appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League as he was immediately sent on loan to Carlisle United. The Wales international played for the likes of Yeovil Town, Leicester City, Rotherham United, Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town as well before signing a contract with Derby County. Tom Lawrence’s main position is left winger, but he is used as both second striker and right winger as well.

The Derby County man made his Wales debut in November 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Netherlands. The highlight of his career is the goal he scored against Georgia in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. His preferred foot is right and he wears No. 10 jersey at Derby County.

Highlighted Team (Dynamo Kyiv):

Dynamo Kyiv

The most successful football club in Ukraine, Dynamo Kyiv has not been relegated to a lower division since its inception in 1927. First founded as a part of the Soviet Dynamo Sports Society, Dynamo Kyiv became a member of the Ukrainian Premier League after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Over the course of its rich history, Dynamo Kyiv has won the total of 28 national titles, 13 of which came during the Soviet era. In addition, Dynamo Kyiv won 20 national cup competitions, while it also grabbed 3 major continental trophies, including two UEFA Cup Winners’ Cups. Oleh Blokhin remains to this date the most successful player of the Ukrainian giants with his 266 goals scored for the Kyiv club.

However, current Ukraine national team head coach Andriy Shevchenko is arguably the most recognisable player in Dynamo Kyiv history. Former Milan and Chelsea star scored the total of 124 goal during his two stints with the Ukrainian club.
