Millwall play host to Watford at the Den in the opening match of the new Championship campaign. The Lions failed to impress in warm-up games against Southampton (0-1) and Colchester (0-1) and that is probably the main reason why home win should not be considered. A man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Macaulay Langstaff, who joined the capital club from Notts County earlier this summer.

The Hornets, on the other hand, are eyeing their first win over Millwall since April 2021. As the Lions are tough to beat in London, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. It has to be noted that Ismael Kone is no longer part of Watford after signing a 12 million deal with Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille. Millwall defenders should have Vakoun Bayo at bay in Saturday’s clash.
